We are looking for full time English-Finnish-English translators. You will be part of our translation team, working closely with project managers. You can work in our Tallinn office or anywhere in the world where there is good Internet connection.

Responsibilities:

• Translating and proofreading texts from English into Finnish and Finnish into English
• Paying close attention to detail and ensuring quality of the material
• Use of CAT tools (memoQ, SDL Trados Studio) and quality assurance tools (Xbech, ErrorSpy, etc.)

An ideal Finnish translator will be/have:

• Finnish language skills to native tongue level
• Excellent fluency in English
• A degree in languages or translation
• Experience as a freelance or in-house translator
• Ability to work to clear deadlines but also to work independently and prioritize different tasks
• Ability to work quickly and to agreed daily targets of at least 5 pages per day

Non-essential but desirable:

• Experience with CAT tools (memoQ, SDL Trados Studio, Memsource, Across, etc.)
• Fluency in another European language is a plus but is not essential
